This year Atlantic Pacific proudly marks a major milestone, our 15-year anniversary. What started in 2010 as a small operation with just four employees in a 2,000-square-foot unit in Cardiff has grown into an internationally respected name in marine engineering. With offices in the UK and USA and a team of over 2,000 tradespeople across our projects.

At our anniversary celebration, held with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and friends at the Celtic Manor in June, we reflected on the values that have shaped our journey: integrity, quality, and a relentless focus on both customer and employee experience.

A Look Back at Our Story

The name originated from two of the founders, Roddy and Leroy, who combined their visions “Atlantic Marine” and “Pacific Marine” — to form what is now Atlantic Pacific Marine. That name not only symbolises the oceans on either side of the USA but also the global reach we’ve achieved.

Growing Stronger, Together

Since those early days, we’ve expanded into a 24,000-square-foot headquarters and grown our UK team to over 25. In 2015 we launched Atlantic Pacific Miami with just two team members. Today the US team, now based in Georgia is thriving.

With over 1,818 sailing projects and 304 dry docks completed to date, our team continues to deliver world-class service, around the clock. As one of our founders, Leroy put it:
“It’s not really about milestones, it’s about making people better than they were before you met them. It’s always been about the people.”

Looking to the Future

As we head into our next chapter, we remain committed to innovation, environmental responsibility, and strengthening our community, both locally and across the global supply chain. Our goal is to be more than just trusted engineers; we aim to be forward-thinking partners in everything we do.

A Night to Remember

Our 15-year celebration was filled with stories, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude. A great night was had by all, a fitting tribute to everything we’ve built together and all that lies ahead.
