Following yet another year of unprecedented success and growth, Atlantic Pacific Marine opened a new site in Fort Lauderdale in order to meet an ever-increasing workload and customer base.

In the previous year alone, the our team completed dry dock projects and refits in the Grand Bahamas, Australia, Germany, the UK, Singapore, Italy, and of course, Miami, for a range of clients from Princess Cruises to P&O.

“We’re dedicated to the marine and offshore sectors,” our MD, Leroy Bishop commented. “All our teams are drawn from quality UK tradesmen with full trade certifications. They’re always well-presented and always exceed Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations. This quality service, combined with our ethos of honesty and integrity, means that our reputation has spread and our business has grown tenfold, requiring expansion into our new site in Fort Lauderdale.”

“Growing popularity and business growth had already resulted in the relocation of our HQ to a bigger site in Cardiff less than twenty-four months ago. With the opening of the Fort Lauderdale site, the company looks set to go from strength to strength.”

The new site is in a prime location within the harbour itself, and includes fully staffed offices and 6000 sq. ft. of fabrication workshop. Senior APM Project Manager Mark Meredith was chosen to head up the new project, with his entire family relocating to Miami. Mark has worked in the industry for 27 years, bringing a wealth of experience to the Ft Lauderdale branch. Some of his more recent projects include managing refits on the Caribbean Princess, the Crown Princess and the Island Princess.
