Project: Ballast Water Treatment System Installation

Project Overview: Remove existing ballast water treatment system and install upgraded Alpha Laval Flex 600 system.

Project Highlights:

• Mechanical & Electrical Scope

1. 1. Remove existing Ballast Treatment Plant (Ocean Guard).
      1. Filter.
      2. UV Reactor.
      3. Neutralization Unit.
      4. Electrical Cabinets.
      5. Pipework between equipment and tie-in connections.
   2. Remove redundant pipework back to the tie in points for the new Alpha Laval Ballast Water Treatment System.
   3. Fabricate and install/Modify steelwork to accept the following equipment.
      1. Filtrex filter drip tray.
      2. Filtrex filter support structure.
      3. Backflush pump support structure.
      4. UV Reactor support structure.
      5. Transformer support structure.
      6. CIP Unit including dedicated catch all.
      7. Electrical Cabinet.
      8. Lamp Drive Cabinet.
   4. Lift equipment into position and secure on the above steelwork.
   5. Fabricate and install pipework to specified drawings.
